Sheryl Jaeger Appraisal Services is an outcome of collecting, buying, selling and studying ephemera. Her collecting interest relate to Childhood Ephemera; her business interests are much broader, and include Childhood Works and Ephemera, Visual and Social Culture as well as Photographs, Historical Memorabilia, Business Archives, Leisure Travel, Folk Art, Menus, Love and Friendship, 19th Century advertising and much more. She has been a partner in Eclectibles, an antiquarian ephemera business dealing in mostly 19th Century Ephemera for 25 years. She is a recognized authority in childhood ephemera, including paper dolls. In an earlier career as a Management Consultant, Ms. Jaeger developed critical expertise in research and analysis. Additionally she has extensive video documentation and cataloging experience.
Sheryl Jaeger Appraisal Services was established in 2005.
Professional education includes the Appraisal Studies Program in Fine and Decorative Arts at New York University, courses, workshops and seminars including Legal and Ethical Aspects of Appraising and IRS Legal Guidelines in Valuation of Fine and Decorative Arts.

Ms. Jaeger is an Accredited Member of the Appraisers Association of America through June 30, 2022. She has been an active member of the Ephemera Society of America since 1991 and currently serves on the Board of Directors. Additionally, she is a member of the American Antiquarian Society, Antiquarian Booksellers' Association of America (ABAA) and where she served on the Board of Governors. She is also a member of the American Antiquarian Society. She is also affiliated with a number of other ephemera and book related societies and organization, including the Manuscript Society, The Movable Book and the Ticknor Society.
This experience enables Ms. Jaeger to appraise and value Ephemera and related collections of most types, a skill not readily found in the industry. She is professional, knowledgeable and through. All work is held confidential.
