Sheryl Jaeger Appraisal Services is an outcome of collecting, buying and selling and studying paper Americana. Ms. Jaeger's collections relate to Childhood Ephemera; her interests as a dealer are much broader, and include early Childhood Ephemera, as well as, Children's Books, Victoriana, Photographs, Leisure Travel, Folk Art, Gardening, Menus, Valentines and colorful Advertising of the late 19th Century and much more. She has been a partner in Eclectibles, an antiques business dealing in mostly 19th Century Ephemera, for 15 years. She is a recognized authority in early paper dolls and participates in specialty shows through the country.

In an earlier career as a Management Consultant, Ms. Jaeger developed critical expertise in research and analysis. Additionally, she has extensive digital documentation and cataloging experience.

Her professional education includes the Appraisal Studies Program in Fine and Decorative Arts at New York University, and courses, workshops and seminars including Legal and Ethical Aspects of Appraising and IRS Legal Guidelines in Valuation of Fine and Decorative Arts. She holds a current USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) certificate.

Ms. Jaeger is a member of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of American and an affiliate member of the Appraisers Association of America.  She has been an active member of the Ephemera Society of America since 1991 and has served as its' web site content advisor.  Ms Jaeger is also affiliated with a number of other ephemera related societies and organizations.

This experience enables Ms. Jaeger to appraise and value Ephemera collections of all types, a skill not generally available in the antiques trades. She is professional, knowledgeable and thorough. All work is held confidential.
